This 7 night tour follows the itinerary below. Please click on the hotel images to see more details about accommodation or the other pictures for example route(s) and links to other information

The meeting point is Pisa airport at 12.30pm on the start date of your tour. If you cannot meet at this time, please contact us and we shall make alternative arrangements.
From the meeting point you will be taken by the support vehicle to the DucatiTours base for a briefing and allocation of bikes.
There are changing facilities available and there will be time to sort out any small items you would like to carry with you.
When the group is ready we shall set off for an (approx.) 3 hour circular ride through the hills to the north of Lucca before returning to our selected hotel on the outskirts of Lucca.

If any riders require items such as radio based intercoms, maps or road books, please let us know before your arrival. We advise all participants to bring a mobile phone that will work in Italy.

Dinner is provided as part of the tour price in Lucca's historic centre. (Please remember drinking and riding is strictly not tolerated!)

The precise time for morning starts will be agreed by the group at the inital briefing but we generally don't get started too early!
The second days ride only covers about 100km as the crow flies. We however are not crows and, as Ducati riders, will be taking a more indirect route. The route takes in rolling hills, riding through a mix of forested, agricultural and vineyard covered landscapes. A lunch break is generally held near Massa Marittima before we head into the Siena area and the opportunity to look around the city if anyone is interested. The overnight stopover for this evening and the 3rd night is at one of our favourite hotels near the walled fortress city of Monteriggioni.

The next day may be used as a rest day or there will be the option of following the guide for local circuits. The same hotel is used for the 3rd night

We travel south east across the lower corner of the Chianti area and into the Crete Senese for some open vistas and sweeping roads. Route and pace on this leg of the tour can be tailored to the group. The intention is to arrive at the southern most part of Tuscany during the afternoon and our destination just outside the ancient hill town of Cortona and what may class as the most impressive hotel on our calendar.

A southern heading again today and down to the hotel selected near the Vallelunga circuit. We havea choice of a quick route and watching the Superbike practice and qualifying in the afternoon or a more extended route to the hotel.

Sunday takes in the Superbike races (tickets included in the tour price). After the GP we return to our hotel for a relaxing evening without battling too much of the traffic!

Today we return to Tuscany using the famous SS2 Cassia route passing Siena and Florence before darting left back to Lucca. Our customary farwell dinner is held this evening in Lucca's historic centre.

The final morning bikes are returned to the DucatiTours' base and all participants are transported back to the airport (or any other local location if your holiday is not ending here).
